Hit-and-run in high school parking lot turns into DWI, child neglect charges for Morris County man
DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County man is facing multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated and child neglect, following a hit-and-run in a high school parking lot Wednesday
On April 24, police conducted a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash investigation that occurred at Morris Knolls High School in Denville Township, police said.
During the course of the investigation, David A. DeRosa, 44, of Rockaway, was arrested, police said.
DeRosa was charged with child neglect, DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to report a motor vehicle crash, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash and improper backing.
